Taipei , the capital city, is in the northern part of Taiwan . It is a busy crowed city. There are many things that are special in Taipei . 101 is the second highest building in the world. There are many people in Taipei . In the summer, there are many typhoons. There are many earthquakes in Taiwan , too. Taipei is developing well, but there are still some problems.

Collecting and dealing with the garbage is a big problem. It is not the cleanest city. To solve this problem, the city government introduced special garbage bags. They also encouraged people to recycle more. I think we should also use garbage to exchange for food. We can also put more trash cans on the street. We shouldn't use disposable things. We should use the things that can be used many times.

Pollution is a problem in Taipei too. We have too many buses and cars on the street, so we have air pollution. Air and water pollution is bad for our health. The government encourages us to take buses and MRT more or ride more on bicycles. The government also takes money from the factories that pollute the water. I think we should stop driving cars, or we can invent a car that doesn't need oil and won't make smoke. We can also build the factories near the city so we can know what they do.

Another problem in Taiwan is about the environment. Taiwan 's environment is not very good. We use too much land on mountains to build stores or plant betel nut trees. We cut down the trees. We have another problem about the environment in the city near the ocean. They take the water from underground to keep fish. After sometime, the ground will sink. So we shouldn't take the water from the underground anymore.

Taipei is not big, but there are many people in Taipei . So we will have a problem about population. The government has built many houses and beautiful places outside of Taipei . The government wants us to live outside of Taipei . I think we should make other cities more convenient. Then some people will go to other cities.

All in all, Taipei is becoming a better place to live. However, we must still work hard to make sure, it is a good place. If we take the garbage to exchange the food, if we take more buses or MRT, if we don't cut trees and don't take water from the underground, and if we make other cities more convenient, then Taipei might be the best it can be.
