My Happy Marian Journey

I have been learning English at Happy Marian since I was three years old. I think that it is a really good thing to learn English when we are young, so when we grow up we can talk to foreigners much easier. Happy Marian’s nurturing environment based on positive reinforcement and mutual respect have helped develop my fullest potential. In 2007, when I was nine years old, I went to a summer camp in Virginia. All the people there went to school in Virginia and were from the area. When I went to the camp, the teachers thought I had lived there for a long time. They didn’t realize I had gone there just for fun. At that time, my English was better than some of the other children, because I had been speaking English for a long time. So when I talked to Americans, I was confident and happy. I have also made a lot of friends at Happy Marian. These friends are really important to me. They can explain many things that I might not have understood from the teacher. Some friends even tell me about a lot of English books, because they like to read English books. At Happy Marian, we learn to be competitive learners and achieve our goals. I especially like it when we share our ideas on different topics. We get to learn a lot, not only from the book and the teacher, but also from each other. Through Happy Marian’s academic and social courses, I have greatly improved my communication, reading and writing skills. In this competitive age, I believe I am more than ready for the challenges ahead.
