A Greener and Healthier Planet

The new planet that we are able to move to will be greener and healthier. We will build houses and cars with solar and electric power. We will try not to use chemicals in our food and in our daily items.

In 100 years, the Earth will be too hot for animals to live on. Therefore, we have to move to a new planet or to the Ecosphere designed by NASA.
Scientists estimate that the Earth’s temperature will go up by six degrees Celsius in 100 years! The glaciers at the north and south poles will melt, so the animals living at the two poles, like the polar bears and the penguins, will be extinct. Hotter temperature will also warm the oceans so the lands that are near the ocean will be flooded. The weather will also change to very long summers and very long winters. Abnormal cold and hot weather will kill many animals and plants.
Scientists have already discovered more than 100 solar systems in the universe that are similar to ours. So if our Earth becomes too hot to live, we can move to one of those solar systems that are nearest to us. The new planet that we are able to move to will be greener and healthier. Scientists at NASA invented the Ecosphere many years ago. An Ecosphere is a closed glass ball that can function as a mini Earth. Right now there are only small-size Ecospheres for lobsters and fish; however, the scientists still cannot build an Ecosphere as large as the Earth. In 100 years, maybe there will be an Ecosphere large enough for all human beings to live in when the Earth gets too hot.

The Earth is getting hotter and hotter. In 100 years, animals will not be able to survive on Earth. So we will have to move to another planet similar to the Earth, or we might have to live in an Ecosphere built by scientists.
