A Place for Teachers with Great Enthusiasm

After teaching and living in Taiwan for over nine years. I am happy to have finally found a school where the students are happy, and able to speak, write, and understand the English language as well as they should, Happy Marian.

? After toiling for over seven years in a number of cram schools and other so called ‘language’ schools, whose sole purpose was to make as much profit as possible without regard to the quality of their curriculum or teachers, it was an unexpected delight when I commenced work at Happy Marian Min-Sheng School.

? Here I found a school fully equipped with a comprehensive curriculum, a team of compassionate and experienced teachers, and a wonderful atmosphere.

? Though my previous jobs were far from rewarding places to work, I believe they were excellent places to improve my qualities as a teacher. Without a solid curriculum and with inadequate facilities, I had to learn to teach with nothing more than my wits.

? Now, as a member of Happy Marian staff, I have the advantage of all those experiences, but am now teaching in a school that supports and assists its teachers.

? I thoroughly enjoy teaching the students here, especially introducing them to new ideas, activities, or vocabulary. It’s a pleasure to see them taking on board a totally new experience and helping them to understand and use it.

? The students here, from first grade kindergarten class right through to P6 level pupils, all learn in a happy, fun, and structured environment.

??The non-teaching staffs at the school are all helpful and have a genuine interest in the students learning the language to the best of their abilities.

? I feel extremely lucky to have found this position in this school and very glad to have left behind me the frustrations of working for far inferior schools.
