In order to gain entry to Taiwan R.O.C. and to take a position with us, you will first need to apply for a Tourist Visa for 60 days, in your country of origin.
This is usually done through the main Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), representative of the Republic of China, in your nation's capital. The internet can be consulted for the most reliable details.

During your flight to Taiwan, passengers are required to complete an Arrival Card. In the "Purpose of Journey" section, you should state clearly, "TOURISM" or "TRAVEL".

Once in Taiwan R.O.C. you are required to obtain a Work Permit, Resident Visa and your Alien Resident Certificate (A.R.C. card). This will be done in the period before your Tourist Visa expires. It usually takes around six weeks to complete.

So, in addition to your passport, you will need: |

The Teaching and Administrative Directors of each school oversee these applications. You will then have a physical examination, visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and go to the Municipal Police Headquarters.
Please note:
a physical examination in your country of origin is not mandatory before arrival.
