The children's English classes at Happy Marian are especially designed and established for children of elementary grades 1 through 6, or any children who have foundations in English. There are 12 levels and class characteristics for the latter. They are as follows:

The main teaching characteristic about the elementary English class is the emphasis on our 5 concepts and teaching objectives: Comprehension, Expression, Perception, Creation and Dynamism respectively. These 5 concepts are aimed to be extensions of basic speaking, listening, reading and writing. Children will first acquire the basic necessary language skills. After, we will strengthen their abilities to understand more complex and meaningful sentences, to understand the details in each theme thoroughly, and to create writing compositions. The most important factor in a child's English study is the cultivation of Dynamism. Children need to be able to motivate themselves in the pursuit of study and aspire to achieve their academic goals. With these instinctive drives, the children will become self-sufficient individuals capable of furthering their talents and intellect independently. The contents of our curriculum include four major classes: an English Main Course class, a Practical English Conversation class, an American Phonics class, and a Foreign Book Reading class. These classes allow the children to progress in their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills simultaneously 。 |

We support and provide a complete English education and employ specialized teachers who have varieties of experience teaching our children. We want the children to learn English in a complete and specialized English speaking environment because we believe the more a child is subjected to English, the faster he/she will be able to comprehend and reproduce it 。 |

We apply a strict supervision system to all of our classes: an integrated semester grade appraisal system, a monthly exam, a mid-term exam, and an end-of-term exam. Special attention will be given to each student during their individual learning processes. This student-focused approach provides a sound bridge for communication between the school and the parents 。

This curriculum finds creating a great deal of opportunities for oral practice for the children beneficial to their learning. Children at Happy Marian do not just learn English, but speak it fluently without hesitation 。 |

Our detailed and specialized supervision provides detailed lesson plans to all of our classes, teacher training, and evaluation management. We maintain our standards constantly in order to ensure the greatest outcomes 。

Implementation of our Student Recording System allows each individual student to listen to a summary of the day's lesson after school immediately. The students will advance their listening and speaking abilities by adopting this revision methodology 。 |
